A Blog Named Hero: Challenge #18

I found an awesome challenge blog that is run by two amazing ladies
(Mary Dawn Quiridongo and Linda Trace).
I "hearted" their big love for Hero Arts products and their enthusiastic minds to provide challenges. You would smile like me when you read their story of how they started their blog, A Blog Named Hero.

I am glad that I can find their blog and participate in the challenge with my love for Hero Arts.

The Challenge #18 is about golden oldie!: Use your old stamp to create a new project

I took several minutes to think of what Hero Arts stamps were my beloved oldies back then, pulled out my messy craft drawers and found out this stamp.

Can you believe that this set of shadow stamp was made
in the year 2002 and I have kept it for 10 years?
How about your  HA oldie, how old your oldies are? >_____<

Anyway, I had a fun time with my old HA's shadow stamp
and here are some creations I ended up today. And of course,
I entered one of these cards to the challenge #18: Golden Oldie at A Blog Named Hero.

I used chalk ink pads to create a soft look background image, then, inked up the shadow stamp not the whole image but some parts of the stamp to get a partial image of it. Message is from old Stampin Up, maybe polka dot & paisley set. The small birthday images are American Crafts' rubons.

This card is also entered in 10 minute craft dash challenge #10.

Using the given color palette--indian pink, smoky shadow, and green grass--
It took me 9:24 to complete.

Don't you think that you can create as many as simple cards with these shadow stamps? I can't stop thinking the endless possibility of this stamp. A little love note took me 6 minutes to finish off.
