CAS 28: Drink, hello from the heart

I have one more card to share with you.
I am linking this card to the CASology challenge on drink.
This card is my second entry for the challenge if you would like to take a look at my first entry click here--> the first entry.

For the card, I used PTI's warm happiness stamp and Hero Art's message stamp.

Thanks for looking at my cards.

CAS 28 + LIM 103 a cup of Coffee shared with Friend

Hi,

It is time for another challenge.
This time I combined two challenges together because the key words from the two challenges are perfect match for each other.
The challenge from CAS-ology Week #28 asked us to create a card with "drink" and the other challenge at Less is More week 103 provided us an opportunity to play along with a theme "friends."

My thought immediately went to "coffee and friend" and my hands moved to pick up PTI's warm happiness too stamp. And these are my interpretation of the two challenges.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, hope you enjoy my cards.
Your comments are more than welcome and greatly appreciated for a beginning crafter. :)

A Blog Named Hero: Challenge #18

I found an awesome challenge blog that is run by two amazing ladies
(Mary Dawn Quiridongo and Linda Trace).
I "hearted" their big love for Hero Arts products and their enthusiastic minds to provide challenges. You would smile like me when you read their story of how they started their blog, A Blog Named Hero.

I am glad that I can find their blog and participate in the challenge with my love for Hero Arts.

The Challenge #18 is about golden oldie!: Use your old stamp to create a new project

I took several minutes to think of what Hero Arts stamps were my beloved oldies back then, pulled out my messy craft drawers and found out this stamp.

Can you believe that this set of shadow stamp was made
in the year 2002 and I have kept it for 10 years?
How about your  HA oldie, how old your oldies are? >_____<

Anyway, I had a fun time with my old HA's shadow stamp
and here are some creations I ended up today. And of course,
I entered one of these cards to the challenge #18: Golden Oldie at A Blog Named Hero.

I used chalk ink pads to create a soft look background image, then, inked up the shadow stamp not the whole image but some parts of the stamp to get a partial image of it. Message is from old Stampin Up, maybe polka dot & paisley set. The small birthday images are American Crafts' rubons.

This card is also entered in 10 minute craft dash challenge #10.

Using the given color palette--indian pink, smoky shadow, and green grass--
It took me 9:24 to complete.

Don't you think that you can create as many as simple cards with these shadow stamps? I can't stop thinking the endless possibility of this stamp. A little love note took me 6 minutes to finish off.

CFC 83: Merry Ballerina

Today,
I'd like to share a card with you that I made last Christmas
(In my mind, Wham's "last Christmas" plays on and on :)).

I am so glad that I can share this card,
because the card was featured as one of contenders
at the CAS-ual Fridays CFC83 challenge: dashing through the holidays.

It was my second time card submission to the challenge site
and fortunately the newbie's card was recognized as one of the contenders.
I am so honored to receive a recognition and
I am also honored that I can play with many other talented ladies there. >__<

The inspiration to create this card came from a patterend paper which had
some images of a nutcratker and a ballerina.

I didn't have any English blog at that time when I entered the card to the challege site
so these images of the card were orignally uploaded at my SCS gallery

Thanks for dropping by.

CASology #27: Blue--She designed a life she loved

 Hi, all

This week, when I saw the CASology cue: BLUE and the sample cards
from it's design team, a person's name came up in my mind.
The name was............ Suzi Blu (without "E", if you want to know more about
her artworks plz visit her blog. She is an amazing mixed media artist).

Yes, my association with the cue word, blue led me to her name, Suzi Blu.
Then, I remembered that I bought her stamp several months ago
but haven't had a chance to play with it. So I took the stamp out and inked it up.

And here are two cards I came up with.

 For these cards, I used:
Unity She is message, Stampavie Suzi Blu stamp,
Memento dew drop danube blue and paris dusk, Ranger archival ink manganese blue
PTI white card, SU blue card, MS mint blue,
Copic marker

I also entered this card to the week 142 challenge at City Crafter blog: winter blues

Thanks for looking at my cards and hope you enjoy this weekend.

CFC84, thankful card 2

I still have time to play along with CAS-ual Fridays' challenge;
to create a CAS thank you card.

So I made the card below and submitted it to the link here:

One of goals I set up for this year, 2013 is to become
a more creative card maker. In order to be a creative crafter,
I thought what I need is to "think out of the boxes."

So, I created this card as an attempt to apply that goal.
I used to make a very flat card, so called a 2 dimensional card.
But in this card, instead of giving a flat effect,
I chose to give a three dimensional effect.
You could see the message die cut "thankful"
is standing up at 45 degrees.

Thanks for dropping by. Hope you enjoy my card.

CFC 84: Thankful card

Hi, all
This is my first posting in my English blog, Kimchi Kreativity.
I am so thrilled that I finally have a place
where I can share my cards in English.
I used to upload my cards at splitcoasterstampers.
You could see more cards of mine in my Korean blog in NAVER.
You will only see those cards open to public but I will try to choose
the best of mine from the Korean blog and upload them here ASAP.

The first card I bring today is for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge,

CFC84: Create a Clean And Simple Thank You card

and here is the card I come up with.

Materials I used for the card:
PTI white cardstock, 4 ink pads(smokey shadow, berry sorbet, aqua mist, simply chartreuse), A.muse Studios 1 ink pad (latte), PTI herringbone embosing template, PTI die

Thanks for dropping by my blog. Hope you enjoy my card.
